If you're wondering where you can donate your children's gently used clothes, or have new items of clothing to donate, bring them into Kidville in Carlsbad this week.
Through August 20th, Kidville is be hosting a clothing drive to benefit StandUp for Kids, a non-profit organiztion that helps homeless and at risk youth. Show starts promptly at 11 am.
Even if you don't have clothing to donate you can still help by coming in and taking advantage of the Kidville play space or shop from their wonderful boutique of clothing, toys and baby gear.
Kidville will donate 50 percent of the proceeds from the facility's open playspace and 20 percent of boutique sales to StandUp for Kids.
Open play times at Kidville are:
- Mondays from 1:15-2:45 p.m.; 4:15-5:45p.m.
- Tuesdays from 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m.; 3:30-5:30 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 9- 10:00 a.m.; 1-3:00 p.m.
- Thursdays from 11:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m.; 4:45-6:30 p.m.
- Fridays from 11:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m.; 4:15-5:45 p.m.
As a grand finale to this clothes drive, Kidville will also be hosting a Fashion Show on Saturday, August 20th with local children wearing a variety of clothing which can be purchased from their in store boutique.
