As part of the Rock N' Roll San Antonio Marathon and Half Marathon to take place on November 15, 2009, Kids Rock is gearing up for a one mile run to take place one day prior.
Kids kindergarten through fifth grade are eligible to participate in Kids Rock, a new event sponsored by YMCA to take place on November 14, 2009.
Geared entirely toward kids, Kids Rock comes complete with running bibs and finisher’s medals. The young participants can even qualify as marathon finishers if they complete 25.2 miles of training prior to race day, when they will complete their final mile.
Trailing near Brackenridge Park and the San Antonio Zoo, it’s sure to be a spectacular event filled with hearts pounding with pride at the finish line. Registration for Kids Rock is $30. Click here to sign up.
