Kids Of Microsofts' Bill Gates Banned From Owning Apple Gadgets

The children of multi-billionaire and founder of Microsoft Bill Gates were apparently banned from owning Apple gadgets such as an iPod as mentioned by Mrs. Gates in a very rare interview, according to The Telegraph report.

The same report claims that Gates' 2 daughters and son had asked for an iPod from their mother, "but they get Windows technology," instead. In that interview Mrs. Gates had said "The wealth from our family came from Microsoft so why would we invest in a competitor?"

However, in 2009, before Microsoft had introduced Windows Phone in response to the success of the iPhone, Mrs. Gates, 48, admitted that she had been tempted to use Apple products herself, according to that report.

The Telegraph in its report also quoted her as saying "Every now and then I look at my friends and say "Ooh, I wouldn't mind having that iPhone, she told Vogue magazine.

Meanwhile, despite the ban pictures were published last year that appeared to show the Gates' oldest daughter Jennifer, 16, clutching an iPhone while jogging in Sydney, according to that very same report. Very interesting, isn't it?
