Have kids that love movies? Love movies and have kids? If yes, then join hundreds at the 15th Annual BAMkids Film Festival. From February 2 thru February 3, families will come to Brooklyn to view over 75 films from 24 countries. With films appropriate for ages 2 to 10 years, The BAMkids Festival is a great way to spend the first weekend in February.
One of the festivals most talked about programs is "Animation Extravaganza." The all animation program of 65 minutes is said to be filled with entertaining shorts of new animation technologies that will amaze viewers and is said to be a hit for 7 to 9 years old. The Creative Critters, Clever Kids program features 11 films from nine countries and is great for ages 5 to 8 years. The Circle of Friends program is great for 2 to 5 years and features 12 films from 10 countries.
The film fest will also feature live performances, filmmaker Q&As, and much more for families to enjoy. Tickets are priced per screening: $9 for children (13 & under) and seniors, $12 for adults and $7 for BAM Cinema Club members. The film fest starts at 10am.
