It happens every year, the kids can't wait until their winter break and then you hear the same old thing,"I'm bored". This holiday season, there are many things to do with your children in Santa Clarita.
Celebrate the holiday season with holiday movies at The Westfield Valencia Towncenter. Starting November 20th, the Towncenter will show free movies in their new expansion, The Patios. They will be showing a different movie every Friday at 6 p.m. until December 18th. The first movie to be shown will be How the Grinch Stole Christmas, followed by Elf, Polar Express, Eight Crazy nights, and Christmas Story.
If your children are looking for a little more excitement, Mountasia Fun center is the place where they can find it. They can play miniature golf, drive go karts, and play games all day. You can finish their day off with a great big sundae from Farrell's located inside Mountasia.
The kids definitely won't be bored after climbing and sliding all day at Sky City Bounce House. They are offering $5.00 off for the whole day on Friday, November 27th. Open playtime is from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and make sure you bring socks, they are required to bounce. Drop-offs are not allowed, so bring a good book to read while the kids run around.
You can also drive over to the River Oaks shopping Center on Saturday, December 5th for their Holiday Block Party. From 1 - 4p.m., you can enjoy free entertainment like a strolling bass band, a magical elf, plenty of arts and crafts for the kids, and get a free 5x7 photo with Santa. Bring a canned or packaged food item to be donated to the Help the Children charity and you will be entered in a raffle to win prizes including gift cards donated by the River Oaks merchants. River Oaks is located at the corner of Mcbean Parkway and Magic Mountain Parkway.
Last but not least, The Gentle Barn is having their 3rd annual Winter Wonderland, Sunday December 13 from 10 a.m-4 p.m. You and your family can sled and play in real snow, go on a hay ride, take photos with Buddha the Santa Cow and The Ice Princess, and much, much more.
