Kids Are Heroes is a nonprofit organization that “empowers, encourages and inspires children to become leaders through volunteerism and community involvement.” Kids Are Heroes will be hosting a free seminar for 100 teens and their parents. The name of the seminar is Teens in Social Media. This seminar will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday February 18, 2013. The location of the workshop will be at the C Burr Artz Library Community Room 110 East Patrick St Frederick, MD 21701. All attendees will get a ticket emailed to them. This ticket is needed to be admitted into the seminar. Some of the material will be rated R to give a realistic picture of what teens do with social media. The seminar will be presented by Gabe O’Neil, President of Kids Are Heroes.
