The kidnapped girl is found safe and sound after being taken out of her home by two unknown men who attempted to rob her family during a Ellenwood home invasion. 14- year-old kidnapped girl, Ayvani Perez, was found alive and well and her two abductors are in custody, according to UPI.com on Sept. 18.
Ayvani and her mother were at home Tuesday when two unknown men broke into their home through the back door. They shot the family dog and demanded money along with jewelry from Ayvani’s mother. When her mother told the men she didn’t have any money or jewels, they abducted the 14-year-old and took off in a gray or dark blue car.
The men demanded $10,000 for Ayvani’s safe return. The family was in the process of trying to raise that money when the kidnappers dropped Ayvani off at an undisclosed location in Conyers, Georgia, where she was picked up by police on Wednesday.
Ayvani is being evaluated at a local hospital, but she seems fine and she’s been reunited with her family. The two men who abducted the girl are in police custody. The FBI are currently searching for others they believe to be involved. One of the kidnappers arrested was identified as Wildrego Jackson, while the identity of the other was not reported.
