Los Angeles hip hop star Kid Ink (pictured) will perform at a 7 p.m. show at Wooly's in Des Moines tomorrow night. The 28-year old rapper (born Brian Todd Collins) released his second full-length album, entitled My Own Lane, in January. The album climbed to the top of the Rap chart, and topped out at #2 on the R&B chart and #3 on the Billboard 200. So far, the album has produced two hit singles, "Main Chick" and the platinum-selling smash "Show Me", both of which feature Chris Brown. Tickets to the show are $22 in advance and $25 the day of the show. [Update: this concert is now sold out.] B. Well and Rob Sheppard will open this all ages show.

DG's Tap House in Ames will host a Nova Labs showcase Friday night at 9 p.m. The event will feature a CD release party for Holly and The Night Owls (featured video) self-titled debut album, Loretta's debut album All These F***ing Brunettes, Man, and Mighty Shady's new single "Waves".
