There are many reasons to visit the Walt Disney World Resorts, especially when planning to travel with kids. It does not matter what the reason, but a mini-Disney getaway is the perfect way to celebrate and reward the little ones. Suggested reasons to visit Disney World (not that you need a reason to go!) include a good report card, winning the championship or to kick off summer vacation. Make the getaway one your kids will remember for a lifetime.

Here are some things to do when visiting the Walt Disney World Resorts and Parks with kids:

  • Let the kids set the itinerary for the day
  • Spend the day searching for as many hidden Mickeys as possible
  • Have a makeover done at the Bibidi Bobbidi Boutique at Downtown Disney or the Pirate’s League at Magic Kingdom
  • Create a custom Coke Freestyle beverage at the Downtown Disney AMC Theater
  • Enjoy dinner with your kid’s favorite Disney characters at a Character Dining Experience
  • Ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain or Splash Mountain over and over again
  • Send the kids off on a pirate cruise on Bay Lake or Crescent Lake
  • Enjoy tea with Sleeping Beauty
  • Spend the day at Downtown Disney enjoying shopping, dining and entertainment all in one location
  • Enjoy the backstage experience, Wild Africa Trek
  • Start a pin collection
  • Start a Vinylmation collection
  • Place presents under the kid’s pillows from their favorite characters
  • Host a birthday party at Goofy’s Candy Company at Downtown Disney

There are many different ways to make your upcoming Disney World getaway special for the little ones. They are only young once, so let them make the plans for your next getaway.

Happy vacationing!!
