You might think it would be hard to get more local than Davis Square favorite Kickass Cupcakes, but that's just because you probably haven't tried their newest limited-edition flavor: the Somerville Sensation.
That creative concoction features any number of local favorites: a kickass mocha cupcake is filled with (Somerville's famous) Fluff, then topped with a Nutella-fluff frosting and sprinkled with Taza chocolate nibs.
Eating local has never tasted so good.
The only way to make this fabulous flavor better? Getting to try a taste for free, something you'll be able to do Sunday, January 31st at Davis Squared, one of Somerville's funkiest boutiques. From 12:30 to 2:30 the shop will be handing out mini cupcakes from Kickass as well as a 10% discount on all cupcake-printed merchandise in the store.
Even if you can't make it to Sunday's event, you may want to carve out some time in your schedule between now and then for a trip to Kickass. As the "limited edition" in the title implies, the Somerville Sensation won't be around forever; barring extenuating circumstances, January 31st will be the last day to try this tasty homage to Somerville.
