Khloe Kardashian lied about pregnancy plans with Lamar Odom, says Kim Kardashian

One of the big storylines in the reality shows "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and the now-cancelled "Khloe and Lamar" was Khloe Kardashian's frustration about her ongoing infertility problems and her supposed desperation to get pregnant by her then-husband, Lamar Odom. Now, Khloe's sister Kim Kardashian has revealed that Khloe (who is a former "X Factor" U.S. co-host) never wanted to get pregnant by Odom at all, according to an interview that Kim did on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Jan. 23, 2014.

Kim said in the interview: "She wasn't trying to [get pregnant]. For so long, everyone in our family was feeling really sad for Khloe [and] thinking that she wasn't getting pregnant and everyone around her was. She was not showing up to these doctors' appointments behind our back on purpose and doing everything on purpose [to not get pregnant]. She knew that it wasn't right. She knew that she wasn't ready."

The Kardashian/Jenner family members have been known to make public denials and statements about their relationships that turn out to be lies, so take Kim's comments for whatever you think they're worth. One of the biggest lies the family told was that Kim and Khloe's mother/manager (Kris Jenner) was not separated from her second husband, Bruce Jenner. In fact, Kris and Bruce Jenner were separated in 2012, but didn't publicly admit it until a year later. Before they admitted it, they lied about the separation and even went as far to say that their marriage was fine when in reality they were separated.

Khloe did the same thing during her troubled marriage to Odom. And so did Kim when she had her doomed, short-lived marriage basketball star Kris Humphries.

After months of speculation about the state of her marriage, Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce from basketball star Odom on Dec. 13, 2013. "Irreconcilable differences" was listed as the reason for the divorce. Khloe Kardashian and Odom reportedly had a pre-nuptial agreement, and she is not asking for alimony, according to TMZ.

Kardashian (who is 29) and Odom (who is 33) were married in 2009 after a quickie courtship of dating for a few weeks. Their busy careers often kept them apart, and tabloids had constantly reported that the couple was getting divorced.

It was the first marriage for Khloe Kardashian and Odom. They did not have any children together.

Odom has two children — Destiny (born in 1998) and Lamar Jr. (born in 2002) — with his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales, who has been in an ongoing legal battle with him over child support. The former couple also had a son named Jaden, who was born in 2005, and passed away in 2006 of sudden infant death syndrome.

In 2012, Kardashian and Odom launched a fragrance called Unbreakable Bond, which is an ironic title, considering their breakup a year later.

As previously reported, one of their biggest marital problems was Odom's reported addiction to crack cocaine.

According to a TMZ report that was published on Aug. 23, 2013, Odom has been to rehab for his drug addiction. Reports have varied about whether or not he is clean and sober, and Odom has publicly denied that he has a drug problem. The NBA suspended him twice in 2001 (first in May and then in November of that year) for drug-related violations. The NBA and its teams do not publicly disclose which drug or drugs are involved when NBA players are suspended for a drug-related violation. However, Odom later admitted to the media that his drug violations were for marijuana, and he made a public apology for his illegal drug use.

TMZ reported: "Lamar has had a problem for two years. It got so bad, last August Khloe pressured Lamar to go to rehab. Lamar went to a facility in San Diego, but he was so resistant Khloe hired private investigators to secretly stand guard at the rehab place to make sure he didn't leave. The P.I.s stood guard 24/7. Our sources say Lamar constantly threatened to leave and Khloe made several visits to prevail upon him to stay. We're told after three weeks, Lamar left for good. We're told Lamar actually stayed clean once he left rehab and was able to play well for the Clippers this past season. But when the season was over, sources say Lamar slipped deep back into hardcore recreational drugs.

"As for reports that Lamar was cheating recently, we're told Khloe is convinced it happened, and she feels she's been hit with a double whammy ... but drugs are the main problem. As for divorce ... neither Khloe nor Lamar has contacted a lawyer ... We're told the situation has become dire. Sources tell us ... within the last two days, the entire family staged an intervention, trying to convince Lamar to go back to rehab, but he wouldn't have any of it. In fact, on Wednesday morning [Aug. 21, 2013], right after the failed intervention, Khloe threw Lamar out of the house ..."

TMZ published a photo of Odom moving some of his possessions out of the house that he shared with Kardashian.

One of the women whom Odom allegedly had an adulterous affair with is attorney Polina Polonsky, who went to a tabloid to claim that she was Odom's mistress.

In 2013, Khloe Kardashian was fired from "The X Factor" U.S. after getting an avalanche of complaints from viewers, who said she was a horrible and unprofessional host. Mario Lopez, who began co-hosting "The X Factor" U.S. with Kardashian in October 2012, continued to host the show after Kardashian got fired.

According to TMZ, Odom has been addicted to crack cocaine for at least two years.

In an August2013 interview with ESPN.com, Odom's agent Jeff Schwartz admitted that Odom is battling a drug problem; he declined to say what drug(s). Schwartz commented: "Playing in the NBA is still very much part of Lamar’s plans.”

Meanwhile, Radar Online reported that OxyContin, not cocaine, is Odom's main drug of choice. An unnamed source told Radar Online: “Lamar was able to smoke OxyContin and it was detected during several drug tests. But because he had a valid prescription, it wasn’t a violation. It allowed him to skate through the system. He knew he could smoke it and get away with it."

An NBA source added, “If Lamar had been using crack cocaine, or any other illegal drug, it would have been detected during the league’s drug testing routine.”

On Aug. 30, 2013, Odom was arrested in California for DUI. On Dec. 9, 2013, he received three years' probation after pleading no contest to the DUI charge.

As much as the Kardashians/Jenners expose their lives on their reality TV shows, most people believe that this family's reality shows are scripted and fake, and it's now obvious that when serious problems are going on in the family, they are not shown on their reality TV shows. Kris Jenner is one of the executive producers of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" and its spinoff shows, so she clearly has a say in what can and can't be seen on their reality shows.
