Kim Kardashian denies Khloe is infertile: She didn't want to get pregnant

Khloe Kardashian doesn't have fertility issues, said her sister Kim. She actually was not trying to get pregnant during her troubled marriage to Lamar Odom.

"For so long, everyone in our family was feeling really sad for Khloe thinking that she wasn't getting pregnant," Kim said on Jimmy Kimmel Live Jan. 23 (see video).

"And the whole time, she wasn't trying to, and she was not showing up to these doctors appointments behind our back on purpose."

For the past three years, rumors have swirled that Khloe has fertility problems because she has been unable to get pregnant despite repeated attempts to conceive. Khloe, who married former Los Angeles Lakers star Lamar Odom in 2009, chronicled her fertility struggles on Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

In 2013, Khloe admitted that a hormone imbalance is the root cause of her infertility. She filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013 amid reports of infidelity and his escalating drug addiction.

But Kim now claims Khloe was never really trying to get pregnant during the past few years, despite the fact that her repeated visits to obstetricians revealed she did have problems conceiving a baby. The visits were televised on their hit reality TV show.

"Khloe knew it wasn't right and she knew she wasn't ready, so now we understand it and we understand her decisions," said Kim. "It's very clear."

Meanwhile, Kim is making headlines for embarking on an extreme weight-loss program ahead of her summer wedding to Kanye West. Kim, who lost 50 pounds just six months after giving birth to daughter North, credited the low-carb Atkins diet for her rapid weight loss.
