Khloe Kardashian gets in trouble with Instagram?

Khloe Kardashian often tweets her fans various updates from her life and she will often share pictures that express what she is feeling. And this morning, she decided to share a picture of Madonna on her Instagram, which landed her in trouble with the social media company. According to a new tweet released on Jan. 30, Khloe Kardashian landed herself in trouble with the company for posting a picture she didn’t own the copyright on. And this morning, she shared her experiences with her fans on Twitter.

“Oh I got in trouble LOL. Instagram removed my Madonna picture I posted... I got an email too. Who knew,” Khloe Kardashian tweeted. Of course, she didn’t reveal why they removed the picture, but one can imagine that she posted a picture that legally belonged to someone else. Instagram allows users to share their own pictures that they own, so sharing a picture of Madonna which is legally owned by someone else is a breach of their usage policies. Of course, Khloe uses Instagram to share pictures she thinks are cool for her fans, and she often creates conversation with her pictures. One can imagine that she posted a picture of Madonna because she sees her as an idol.

One can definitely learn from Khloe Kardashian’s mistakes, as she was contacted by Instagram directly. Are you surprised that Khloe would violate the Instagram usage policy by sharing the picture of Madonna? Or do you think she just shared the picture without realizing that she was violating the usage policies?
