Khloe Kardashian being fired from “The X Factor,” or at least not having been asked so far to return to the third season, is adding the “A” to the “X.” Did Simon Cowell come to his senses by finally dropping the ax? When Simon Cowell hired Khloe as co-host to the high-profile Fox singing competition, he wanted Khloe to be just herself. Maybe being herself was just a bit too much and it is time to add the “A” to the “X” and turn “The X Factor” into “The Ax Factor;” at least for Khloe.
On Feb. 17, 2013, the New York Post reported that “Now Fox and the show’s creator, Simon Cowell, are scrambling to rebuild the wildly hyped series which a News Corp. executive called ‘a disappointment’ during a conference call with investors this month. (News Corp. owns Fox, as well as The Post.)”
Khloe Kardashian being fired from “The X Factor” would certainly fit in. If a co-host is scrambling, it is no surprise that sooner or later the show will end up scrambling.
Maybe by removing the scrambling co-host, the show can unscramble itself and go on.
When 28-year-old Khloe Kardashian first appeared in October on “The X Factor” with no prior television hosting experience, she appeared nervous, uncomfortable, and unprepared on camera. From the beginning of her co-host career, Khloe never denied that she was scrambling or clambering.
"Just learning how there's a screaming audience and you don't yell because the mic is right there ... I will have an earpiece in my ear, and while I'm trying to read the teleprompter then I have someone counting down ... and they're like, 'Okay, ask Simon this or that' ... There were so just so many pieces I never knew were involved in live TV," said Khloe in a HuffPost Live interview.
After only a few months as the co-host of “The X Factor,” Khloe is learning a new lesson about live TV, if you don’t get the “X,” it is just a matter of time until you get the ax.
And here comes the next Kardashian reality TV show -- “The Ax Factor.”
