Khloe Kardashian is allegedly no longer going to be co-hosting "The X Factor" USA. However, Mario Lopez will probably be front and center for the reality show when the program bows again this year. This new report about Kardashian being dropped from the network program came Feb. 17 via The New York Post.
Khloe isn't the only member of the staff for the Fox talent show who allegedly won't be back for the program. Both L.A. Reid and Britney Spears have reportedly decided not to return to "The X Factor" for season three.
Simon Cowell, the brains of this operation, will likely be back while the remaining member of the team, Demi Lovato, is a big question mark concerning her possible return.
All this said, the producers of "The X Factor" have weighed in about these alleged cast changes saying that "talent decisions for this year" have not been made.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old Khloe Kardashian lacked certain support when she co-hosted the singing competition with Mario Lopez. In fact, she was heckled quite a bit as the reality star found her footing in a new small screen genre.
According to hosting expert Marki Costello, "It was really hard for me to watch Mario with [Khloe]. It made me, as a viewer, almost uncomfortable."
Khloe admitted she was off to a rough start when she started on the show. She said, "I do feel like through every show I got better and better, but my first week I literally was like, 'I am going to die. I want to fake a heart attack.'"
With that part of the alleged problem in mind, Kardashian also brought on some questionable outfits to "The X Factor" stage when she started this gig. This included a see-through blouse worn over bare breasts for her first time out on that particular stage during the live shows. She also flirted with Simon Cowell during the course of the season, even sitting on his lap at one point, an act that had some critics up in arms.
And so, while Khloe Kardashian is allegedly not returning to the high profile Fox show but Mario Lopez reportedly is, some pundits are surprised while others are apparently relieved, if social media and a number of news sources are any indication.
In defense of this member of the Kardashian clan, Khloe made a splash on the small screen while bringing along a lot of her fans to the mix as she tried out this new television environment on "The X Factor." That said, Lamar Odom's wife and Kim Kardashian's little sister may just pop up somewhere else on the tube if the rumors about her exit on the TV talent show are, indeed, true.
