Allegations that Khloe Kardashian has been fired from “X Factor” come just days after rumors surfaced that Kardashian and Lamar Odom are separated. The allegations that Kardashian has been fired from “X Factor” came from the New York Post on Feb. 18.
An insider said the “Keeping up with the Kardashians” reality star has not been asked back to host “X Factor” The insider says that Mario Lopez has been asked back to "X Factor."
LA hosting expert Marki Costello said, “I’m sure there was a big percentage of Khloe’s fans who followed her to ‘X Factor.’ But at the end of the day, when she doesn’t know what she is doing, are you helping your show or hurting it?”
Costello also said it was difficult to watch Khloe with Mario Lopez. “It made me, as a viewer, almost uncomfortable.”
Kardashian is also rumored to be separated from husband Lamar Odom, an LA Clippers forward. A source claimed earlier in February that Lamar has felt smothered by Khloe and that he has lost a part of himself in their marriage and that he [Odom] is tired of the entire “Kardashian machine.”
Britney Spears and record producer L.A. Reid have also left “X-Factor,” leaving Fox and show creator Simon Cowell “scrambling” to find hosts for the “wildly hyped" singing competition. During a conference call with investors this month, a News Corp. executive has called “X Factor” a "disappointment". News Corp. owns Fox, as well as The Post.
