Khloe Kardashian has been fired from "The X Factor," according to "The New York Post" on Feb. 18.
The 28-year-old was not asked to return as co-host of the popular singing competition. Sources tell the paper, “They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe.”
Kardashian’s exit comes on the heels of judges Britney Spears and L.A. Reid also leaving the show. A spokesperson for “The X Factor” has said, "The producers have not yet made the talent decisions for this year."
The reality star was criticized for appearing nervous on the show leaving Lopez to carry the hosting duties on his own.
Kardashian is wildly popular on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” and the many other E! spinoff shows but her over-the-top personality failed to translate on live television.
Sources connected to the show tell Hollywoodlife.com, “they are looking to still pair someone with Mario Lopez, but still have plenty of time to make those decisions, so it’s not as much of a rush as it is for the judges.”
