Khloe Kardashian filed for divorce in Los Angeles on Friday after months of back and forth with her husband, Lamar Odom. Since June, the pair have been plagued with rumors of cheating and drug use and while Khloe appeared to be focused on getting her husband well and repairing their relationship, any hope of a reconciliation ended today.
According to a December 13th report by TMZ, Lauren Wasser filed the documents for Khloe, requesting the divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences," and requesting her name be restored.
"The couple has a prenup so division of property will be a cinch -- they kept all their property separate," the site reports. "And Khloe is asking the judge to take Odom out of her name, so she is once again simply Khloe Kardashian ... eliminating Odom from her life in every way."
In addition, Khloe is not requesting any spousal support from Lamar, although she could legally ask to receive it for half of the length of her marriage which would have been about two and a half years, and wants the judge to reject any request by Lamar for spousal support from her.
On the latest episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe is seen going through the beginning stages of her split from Lamar and recently said in a confessional that she wants to help him but suspects that walking away may be what is best.
