Khloe Kardashian complains about 'X Factor' job on 'Kourtney and Kim Take Miami'

Khloe Kardashian received an avalanche of viewer complaints when she became a co-host of "The X Factor" U.S. in 2012, with many viewers saying that she should be fired for her unprofessional and annoying behavior on the show. And now, in episodes of "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" (the reality show starring Khloe's older sisters Kourtney and Kim), Khloe is shown whining like an immature brat when she reveals how dissatisfied and unprepared she was for her "X Factor" job. Khloe (who is 28) also admitted that she wanted to fake a heart attack to try and get out of doing the job.

The episodes with Khloe's self-pitying rants about "The X Factor" are being aired in March 2013 but were filmed in late October/early November 2012, in the first few weeks that Khloe was on "The X Factor" job. She had no previous experience as a TV host. The Kardashian sisters are managed by their mother, Kris Jenner.

In one of these episodes of "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami," the three sisters are in London to promote their fashion line. Khloe is seen whining: ''I just arrived in London. It's my very first time here. I am still upset about 'X Factor' and my first week on the show. And right now I need a little bit of comfort.

"Do you know what I said to mom the day of, I go, 'I'm going to fake a heart attack just so I don't have to come.' Because that's a real excuse. I am not a nervous person. I have never felt the nerves ...

"Hosting I think is one thing, I think live TV is another thing. Everyone's like yelling in your ear, like, 'OK, don't ask that question anymore.' And then they count. When they get to three, they're like, 'Three seconds to shut up. Shut up!'"

In another scene, Khloe is heard cursing and complaining to Kim in a phone conversation about her "X Factor" job: "I just had the worst rehearsals in my entire life!" Khloe gripes. "It was so bad. The show starts in two days. And I need contacts! I can't read the [censored obscenity] Teleprompter."

Kim is seen comforting Khloe by telling her not to worry. But Kim's words of reassurance could not conceal Khloe's inexperience and unprofessional behavior which lead to such a massive "X Factor" viewer backlash against Khloe.

Among the many viewer complaints about Khloe Kardashian were her inappropriate flirting with "The X Factor" executive producer Simon Cowell on the show (in one episode, she sat on his lap and said, "I was told by ['American Idol' host Ryan] Seacrest that if I sat on your lap, this is what makes you excited.") and her tacky wardrobe, which included wearing a low-cut sheer blouse with no bra in her first "X Factor" episode. Her nipples were clearly showing on TV. Khloe later responded to the criticism by telling the media that she wore the revealing outfit because another wardrobe choice had not arrived in time. Almost no one believed her lame excuse.

It's no surprise that Khloe felt overwhelmed and out of her league as a TV host. She often acted uncomfortable and fidgety when reading her lines and interacting with people on the show. She frequently interrupted people when they were talking to her, had the wrong eye contact with the TV cameras, missed her speaking cues, unnecessarily shouted her lines, and awkwardly touched people standing next to her. Most "X Factor" viewers say they dislike seeing her on the show, and many also say that Mario Lopez should host the show on his own.

Lopez and Khloe Kardashian had replaced Steve Jones, who hosted the first season of "The X Factor" U.S. in 2011 before he was fired. Jones also got viewer complaints about being an awkward host, but he was nowhere as disliked as Khloe Kardashian. Jones is an experienced TV host who is well-known in his native Great Britain.

As previously reported, numerous "X Factor" viewers said they are boycotting "The X Factor" U.S. as long as Khloe Kardashian was on the show. During her disastrous stint on "The X Factor" U.S. (from Oct. 31 to Dec. 20, 2012), the show's ratings dropped an average of 1 million to 1.5 million viewers per episode, according to the Nielsen Company. Before Khloe was a host of "The X Factor" U.S., the show was averaging 9 million U.S. viewers per episode. After she began hosting the show, the ratings sunk to an average of 7.5 million to 8 million U.S. viewers per episode.

In fact, many "X Factor" viewers say they don't want any of the Kardashians on the show. The Kardashian clan has become reviled by many TV viewers who have expressed disgust at the family's trashy behavior on and off of TV. For example, in a March 2013 episode of "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami," Kim and Kourtney argued over who has a better-smelling vagina, while Khloe decided to judge for herself and declared Kim the "winner."

"The X Factor" U.S. has not yet announced who is hosting the show in 2013. I was the first with the worldwide exclusive that Khloe Kardashian was getting fired, which I reported in January 2013. The New York Post confirmed her firing a little more than a month later and reported that Lopez will continue to host the show. Representatives for "The X Factor" U.S. will only say that decisions are being made about who will host the show in 2013. Khloe Kardashian has not yet commented on her "X Factor" employment status, but she did tell the media in December 2012 and January 2013 that she wanted to continue to host the show.

There is also no official word yet on who will join Cowell on the show's judging panel in 2013. Britney Spears and L.A. Reid need to be replaced. It has not yet been announced if Demi Lovato will be asked to continue as a judge on the show, but Cowell and Lovato have said in recent interviews that they both want her to remain as an "X Factor" judge.
