The inevitable was bound to happen and it did. Khloe Kardashian-Odom has officially been axed by the X-Factor -- reportedly.
After just one, very rocky, season on the singing competition show, the reality starlet was given the boot.
Producers and casting directors now have to scramble to find a replacement for Khloe -- but is one really needed? During a few episodes last season while Khloe was backstage interviewing contestants, co-host Mario Lopez carried the show gracefully. In fact, any time Khloe had a slip, awkward moment or just started to go on-and-on about herself, Mario was right there to get the show back on track.
Fans had very mixed feelings about Khloe's hosting debut. She didn't have the right skills, but she did have the star factor producers seemed to hire her based on. As the season went on, the basketball star's wife started becoming more and more comfortable in front of the camera. However, it may have already been too little too late. She also started to look more and more like a host with her outfit choices -- but of course, that's all left up to the stylists.
Have no fear, X-Factor won't be host-less next season, Mario Lopez is set to return next season. As for judge Britney Spears -- apparently, she also did not have the X-Factor.
