Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian and their TV cameras not welcome in the Hamptons

Not everyone wants Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian to take the Hamptons. As reported by the NY Daily News on Monday, April 7, some of the locals dread the fact that the Kardashian sisters will be based there this summer in order to film their new reality TV show.

Khloe and Kourtney will be operating a pop-up Dash clothing boutique in Southampton and filming their exploits for “Kourtney and Khloé Take the Hamptons.”

Some locals think that the famous reality TV stars's presence will bring down the locale's prestige.

“I don’t think the Hamptons are over, but the Kardashians are not going to be welcomed with their cameras. It’s a mockery. The Hamptons are not the Jersey Shore,” a prominent East Hampton socialite told the NY Daily News.

This isn't the first time that the Kardashian sisters have taken over a city. The Hamptons show follows "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" and "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami." With how different the Hamptons is from Miami and the Kardashians's other stomping grounds however, the new show is likely to feature a lot more funny and shocked interactions with disapproving locals.
