First things first… Keystone Resort reports that it will have more than 1,600 acres of skiable terrain available over the Christmas break. Plus, Keystone will offer a variety of on-and-off mountain activities, including mountaintop snow cat tours, ice skating, snow tubing and the fourth year of Keystone’s Kidtopia family programming, complete with a mountaintop snow fort.
Limited lodging availability still exists, and Keystone’s lodging is available at up to 50% off. And, kids 12 and under ski for free with any two or more nights stay in one of Keystone’s many accommodation options with no blackout dates.
Keystone’s inventory of condominium-style lodging provides all the comforts of home, including full kitchens in most units. Or, check out one of Keystone’s dining outlets. Special seasonal menus will be available at many of Keystone’s signature dining locations.
Keystone will kick off the fourth year of Kidtopia activities on Saturday, Dec. 21, with the first installment of the weekly Riperoo Parade, featuring a professional float, the unveiling of this year’s mountaintop snow fort and the launch of daily activities including ice skating parties, meet-and-greets with the mountain’s adorable avalanche dogs and specialty programming including Cupcakes and Canvases (art classes complete with cupcakes).
For kids’ indoor programming, Keystone introduces the new Kidtopia Headquarters, an indoor space filled with fun activities including a new Ready, Paint, Fire pottery shop.
There will also be Keystone’s 8,000-pound chocolate Village display, an ice skating showcase, Kidtopia fireworks show, carolers and a concert with Keller Williams and his Compadres. Santa Claus will make a quick pit-stop for a special Holiday breakfast on Christmas Eve day.
