Keyshia Cole puts 'Family First' with reality series, late 2012 album ?

"I Remember" and "I Changed My Mind" singer Keyshia Cole is back to telling it the way it is, thanks to a forthcoming reality series. Confirming the title of the series Tuesday, the R&B singer is also fast at work on an album she hopes to release later this year.

Titled "Family First," the series will give fans a glimpse at the recording process for her forthcoming album, a follow up to "Calling All Hearts," as well as her new life as a wife (Daniel Gibson) and mother.

"We're in the studio now, working on a new album and doing [Family First] now too," Cole shared with Billboard.

This is not Cole's first reality series, sans the BET series that helped her rise to the top, "The Way It Is," nor is this the first time we are hearing about a new realtiy show being taped. Cole teased the show in June, telling fans she and her husband, NBA athlete Daniel Gibson, were recording wedding related festivities for the series.

It remains unclear where Cole's "Family First" will be seen.

As for her album, her first apart from longtime manager Manny Halley, Cole hopes to gift fans in December.

"My management &I both agreed that we will put new songs out this DEC," Cole told fans earlier this month.

Keyshia Cole's top singles include "Let It Go, "Love," "Heaven Sent," and "Trust".
