This evening Sony Pictures shared the first official graphic of Kevin Zegers as Alec Lightwood. The studio has been sharing a new graphic each day leading up to Valentine’s Day for its #ShareMortalLove event. As fans tweeting their positive reaction to the latest graphic of Zegers, the actor took to his active Twitter account to show his gratitude.
“Thanks for all of the nice comments. Can't wait for you all to see the film. Pictures don't really do it justice,” wrote the up and coming actor. Zegers was recently cast in ‘The Curse of the Downers Glove.’ He is definitely a talent to watch!
So far the studio has released graphics for Simon Lewis (Robert Sheehan) and Isabelle Lightwood (Jemima West.) If this trend holds true, fans could get their first image of Godfrey Gao as Magnus Bane tomorrow. His character didn’t appear in the first teaser trailer.

The Harald Zwart directed film, ‘The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones’ is due out August 23, 2013. The film stars Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Lena Headey and Jonathan Rhys Meyers among its talented cast.
