After dating for a year or more, Kevin Youkilis is allegedly now engaged to Julie Brady, Tom's sister. And so now two New England sports families will reportedly be united.
The Red Sox star and the Patriots quarterback are said to be set to be in-laws, which should cause certain Northeastern residents to be thrilled. Thrilled, that is, if this information is, indeed, fact.
Although the Boston Herald told readers of this new relationship development, neither Youkillis nor Brady have officially confirmed their engagement, as the newpaper reports.
In fact, columnists Gayle Fee and Laura Rapose with Megan Johnson of the Beantown publication's Inside Track column say the whole deal between Kevin Youkilis and Tom's sister is "supposed to be hush-hush and on the deep down-low."
With that established in their lede, these writers still insist that the two are going to get married. In fact, the scribes talk about how Julie, a mom and schoolteacher, and Kevin, a big time athlete like her brother, spent Super Bowl 2012 week with each other and with the other members of the Brady tribe.
These intrepid reporters and sometime soothsayers also say that the wedding between Kevin Youkilis and Julie Brady will marry "on the Left Coast" and "most likely in the offseason."
Can this be true?
Signs point to yes, but until the announcements are mailed, fans should still wonder if nuptials are in the wind for this mighty Youkilis Brady union. Fingers crossed.
