Sometimes musicians come in pairs, there is Simon & Garfunkel, Ashford & Simpson, Captain & Tennille and of course Rowe & Cribbs. Well they are not a duo, but they will be playing together tonight in Newnan at the Alamo.
Kevin Rowe and Neil Cribbs are Atlanta transplants, one from Great Brittan, the other from the great state of North Carolina. They both now call Georgia their home as they pursue their life in music. They both write tunes about life and relationships and they both are worth checking out live.
Kevin Rowe known for his melodic pop tunes will be unleashing his new 5 piece band. They will jam tunes from his album 10AM, his new song “Welcome To America” and a few other surprises. The addition of a full band should add a whole new dimension to Rowe’s keyboard driven music.
Neil Cribbs’ roots/Americana music is full of graphic imagery about life and love. Usually seen solo he has now put together the Neil Cribbs Trio and that is what you get to listen to tonight. Tunes from his album and EP should be abundant tonight and he is known for tossing in some sweet covers (think Sam Cooke and Michael Jackson).
If you need something to do tonight this is the place to be. Grab your wife, grab your girlfriend/boyfriend, grab your family and friends or just grab yourself and get to the Alamo in Newnan. Don't let the rain keep you from a night of great tunes, and helping out some local artists.
