Kevin Love trade rumors are really starting to buzz. New NBA trade rumors about Love have surfaced and they suggest that the All-Star wants out. According to a Twitter post by basketball analyst Peter Vecsey on Wednesday night (Feb. 19), the star of the Minnesota Timberwolves has told the organization that he is ready to be moved. This is big news, especially if everything he is stating turns out to be true.
The Twitter post by Vecsey reads as follows: "Prior 2 AS break, KL alerted Flip he'll exercise summer '15 out & sign elsewhere. Expect him 2B moved B4 deadline or off season." It is Flip Saunders that he speaking about in his post, who is currently the President of Basketball Operations for the Timberwolves. In short, he is the decision maker that can either decide to hold on to his prized asset, or deal him before the deadline hits on Feb. 20.
There are quite a few teams that will be or have already been mentioned when it comes to Kevin Love trade rumors. The LA Lakers are one of the organizations that will try hard to acquire him, likely with Pau Gasol as the main component. The Lakers would have to include several quality draft picks as well, especially because they won't be the only team bidding for a top-notch player like this one.
The front office in Minnesota has a very tough choice ahead of them, as they have to decide whether the right time to trade him is now or during the NBA offseason.
