Kevin Liles resigns from Warner Music Group

 Kevin Liles, VP of Warner Music Group, has resigned from his position on Thursday, September 3rd . He will remain as a business consultant with the label. Liles, age 41, was previously President of Def Jam Records from 1998 until 2004. In 2004 he jumped on board as Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group ran by Lyor Cohen.

Kevin Liles is an activist, leader, philanthropist, and music mogul. His book, Make it Happen: "The Hip Hop Generation guide to success", is now on the bestsellers list. His book is the foundation to anyone who wants to build a career in the Hip Hop industry. Mr. Liles has a stadium named after him and his own street in the city of Baltimore, Maryland.

Mr Liles will continue to contribute his time and efforts in helping the world become a better place.
