Kevin Lawing at Relics Antiques Flea Market at Redtop sells some of the best antiques at very good prices. He has several spaces on the inside and sells everything from furniture to art, silver, porcelain, fabrics and everything in between. Redtop is a small community just south of Charleston, SC on Highway 17 South near Bees Ferry Rd. Relics is an antique shop that has been there for years that also has a Flea Market outside in the back and considerable inside Flea Market spaces as well. You never know what you might find there. The Flea Market is open on Saturdays and Sundays.

Kevin Lawing has this beautiful Regency table.

Kevin has been collecting antiques for years and has lots of things in storage to keep his space full and there is always something new. He knows a lot about the things he sells and antiques in general. His prices are much less than what antique shops want, so he has a regular following. These days he has several duck decoys, and every antique collector needs at least one duck decoy.

He has an exceptional antique Regency table with a beautiful single pedestal triform base in a very blond wood. I has two leaves and seats six people very comfortably. It is expandable to seat more people. It is very reasonably priced. Most antique shops would want twice as much or more. It is the best buy there.

On the table is a very beautiful Royal Copenhagen table setting for six with serving pieces. Royal Copenhagen china sells for hundreds and thousands of dollars. The price he had on it was about one fifth of what the real value must be. This is a bargain for someone who appreciates quality. He sells many entertaining related antiques like sterling silver and porcelain.

He just hung a very large painting in a modern style of a construction site and a bulldozer with people watching. The colors are great. It is perfect for a large room. Someone at Kiawah or Seabrook Island needs to buy it. It is a real focal point and would go with any décor.

The exact location is 3881 Savannah Hwy (South), Johns Island, SC, 29455, although it is not actually on the island of Johns Island. Daniel and Victoria Doyle are the owner/managers and they can be reached at 843-670-3811. More pictures of antique shopping in Charleston, SC, including Relics, can be found at
