Kevin Hart's New Movie to Premiere at ABFF

Stand up comedian and actor Kevin Hart is premiering his movie Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain at ABFF this year. There will be two screenings at the Colony Theater (1040 Lincoln Rd) on Saturday, June 22nd at 7:15 pm and 9:15pm.

Hart's continued issues with his family and friends makes for great jokes and he is definitely good at explaining them. Anyone who has seen "Laugh At My Pain" knows how hard it is to get the phrase, "You gon learn today" out of your mind. During Hart's "Laugh at my Pain" tour in 2011, Hart became the first African-American comedian to net over $1.1 million in a two-day sale when he sold out the Nokia Theater in Los Angelas for two nights and broke a box office record previously held by Eddie Murphy.

"Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain" captures the amusement, dynamism, and chaos from Hart's 2012 concert tour, which spanned 10 countries and 80 cities, and produced over $32 million in ticket sales. Hart's "Let Me Explain" tour was one of the most successful comedy tours of all time, with more than 540,000 tickets sold. Both of his shows at New York's Madison Square Garden and his performance at London's O2 Arena sold out, as well as his appearances in Canada, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Amsterdam. The tour concluded this past New Year's Eve in Los Angeles by selling out the Staples Center and grossing over $1 million in revenue in one night. Only five other comedians - Andrew Dice Clay, Dane Cook, Chris Rock, Russell Peters and Eddie Murphy - have sold out Madison Square Garden where Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain was filmed.
