Just three days before tragedy struck in Haiti, entrepreneur, Jean Alerte, and his partner comedy writer/producer, Jeffrey Gurian, partnered up with night life impresario, Unik Earnest, to donate the proceeds from their February 20th comedy show starring Kevin Hart to Unik's Edeyo Foundation. Edeyo, which means "Help Them" in Creole, gears itself to educating poor Haitian children, and even built a school in Port Au Prince.
It was a coincidence that proceeds from the show were already allocated to the betterment of Haiti right before the earthquake hit the country. In light of the tragic situation Haiti is in, Jean Alerte, Jeffrey Gurian, and Unik Earnest will be hosting two fundraising events, to their mother country prior to the February 20th comedy show at the Capital One Bank Theatre in Westbury, NY,
