Kevin Federline is having a little financial trouble with Uncle Sam. According to a Feb. 16 TMZ report, Britney’s ex-husband and “PopoZao” star Federline owes thousands of dollars in back taxes.
The publication reports that a federal tax lien was filed against Spears on Feb. 14 claiming that he owes unpaid income tax bills for years 2009 ($30,517.16) and 2010 ($27,098.23).
Unfortunately for the former reality television star, he cannot claim that he made no money during those years. In 2009, Federline indulged in some acting, making a cameo appearance in “American Pie: The Book of Love,” which made it straight to DVD. No word on whether Federline’s role had anything to do with that. In 2010, the actor starred in the VH1 reality television show, “Celebrity Fit Club.”
This is not the first time Federline has been hit with tax problems. According to the Daily Mail, he was faced a $37,712.17 lien for unpaid taxes dating back to 2004.
