Kevin Durant's career highs in points, rebounds, assists and threes in a game

Kevin Durant is just 24 years old, but he has already accomplished a great deal in his NBA basketball career. Durant is the reigning scoring champ in the NBA, and he has won three consecutive scoring titles.

These are the career highs so far in Kevin Durant's career in points, rebounds, assists and threes in a NBA game. At the end I've also listed his career highs in a game in a few other categories, and his career triple-doubles total.

Kevin Durant's career highs in points, rebounds, assists and threes in a game

  • Kevin Durant's career high for points in a game - 52

On January 18, 2013, Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder scored a career high 52 points in a OT game vs the Dallas Mavericks, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Durant made 13 of the 31 shots he took in the game, including making five of nine threes. Kevin was also perfect from the foul line, making 21 of 21 free throws.

The Thunder won the game, 117-114, in OT. I would think Kevin Durant is a lock to exceed 52 points in a game at some time in the future. Probably the near future.

  • Kevin Durant's career high in rebounds in a game - 18

On January 26, 2011, at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Kevin Durant grabbed a career high 18 rebounds in a game vs the Minnesota Timberwolves. Durant also scored 47 points, as the Thunder won, 118-117. Kevin Love grabbed 21 rebounds for the Timberwolves.

On April 6, 2010, Kevin Durant made a career high seven threes in a OT game vs the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City. Durant took 13 threes in the game, and scored 45 points in a one point loss, 140-139.

Kevin Durant is a career 36.8% shooter of threes, and at some point I expect he will make 10 or more threes in a game, and quite possibly challenge the NBA record for threes in a game. That record is 12, co-held by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall.
