If you see Kevin Bacon on the subway, don't be surprised. On Feb. 5, 2013, The Inquisitr reported that the star rides the subway daily. "I take the subway every day. It’s the fastest way to get around the city. When I’m on the train, I play Solitaire, Angry Birds and Backgammon on my phone," said the 54-year-old Bacon.
Does Kevin like being recognized on the subway? Considering stars value their privacy, most people would assume no. But the man famous for his role in "Footloose" gives an intriguing answer. "Fame is very much a double-edged sword. I had a prosthetic disguise made, because I wanted to see what it would be like not to be recognized. I didn’t like it very much - no one was nice to me. People didn’t bother me, but they also looked right through me."
The New York subway is a convenient way to get around the city. So how unique is it for Bacon to take it? Perhaps not so much. As reported at the Huffington Post, many stars have been seen on the subway, including Katie Holmes, Jay-Z, Zoe Saldana, Rihanna and more.
