Often times, we can get into a bit of a pattern when it comes to the drinks we make when getting together with friends or loved ones. Today, though, we have two brand-new recipes for you to learn how to create this weekend and beyond. All you need to do this is grab some Ketel One.
For both of these drinks you are going to need two types of Ketel One. One drink will host Ketel One Citroen, while the other will be based with regular Ketel One. The two drinks we are going to talk about are the Ketel One Citroen Triple CCC and the Ketel One Glühwein.
Let's begin with the Ketel One Citroen Triple CCC. In order to create this beverage, you are going to need Ketel One Citroen, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and mint leaves. Additionally, if you'd like you can have a shaker on hand to mix up the initial ingredients or you can just mix everything into the glass you'll drink out of. The glass should be a rocks glass or low ball glass.
First, lightly mash together three fourths of a quarter of lemon juice, 10 mint leaves and one half ounce of simple syrup together in your rocks glass. Do not add ice until you've done this. Once you are finished mashing those three ingredients together, go ahead and add in the crushed ice and the Ketel One Citroen. Stir all of the contents up until you are satisfied with the mixture and balance.
When you're finished mixing, go ahead and garnish the glass with a lemon slice and/or a sprig of mint. It's important to make sure all of the contents in this drink are mixed up thoroughly. Personally, it's not a bad idea to mix up the lemon juice, mint leaves and simple syrup in a shaker before adding it into the glass. This can help the liquid find a more balanced level, but either way works just great.
The second drink we'll take a look at today is the Ketel One Glühwein. To concoct this beverage, you'll need to have regular Ketel One Vodka, Kirsch, grape juice, sugar cubes, cinnamon sticks, whole nutmeg, whole star anise pod, frozen mixed berries and an orange.
To begin, add together 10 sugar cubes, 750 ml. of Ketel One Vodka, 1 three-inch cinnamon stick, one whole nutmeg, 1 whole star anise all into a saucepan. Go ahead and heat all of this up to medium until the contents begin to foam. Then turn off the heat and move it into a Crock Pot or slow cooker to keep it warm. Place the setting on warm, not low or high.
Stir in one and a half bags of frozen mixed berries, followed by three ounces of Kirsch and an orange thinly sliced. Strain out all of the ingredients into a glass or pitcher if needed. Finally, refrigerate the beverage for 30 minutes and pour the contents into a chilled glass mug. This is a bit of a complicated drink, but is really worth the effort in the end.
Enjoy those two new recipes from Ketel One Vodka! There are always new, interesting ways to use Ketel One as its lineup provides a diverse range of beverages for you and your friends to try.
