Brad Keselowski, 29, and crew chief Paul Wolfe hope that changing the color of his #2 Ford Fusion “Blue Deuce” to yellow for the first 8 races in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series (beginning March 2), will help change his luck after a season fraught with disasters for him and Team Penske last year.

Although he had 7 top finishes in the first 8 races of 2013, Keselowski’s season soon spirled downwards as Penske Racing found itself embroiled in a number of suspensions, points penalties and parts failures and crashes that made him only the second defending champ to be kept out of the NASCAR Chase since Tony Stewart in 2006.

This year, however, he hopes to redeem himself and log in lots of wins for both new sponsor Alliance Truck Parts (hence the change to yellow) and regular sponsor Miller Lite. Miller Lite’s colors will remain on the car, however, as they will resume sponsorship for 24 races this year.
