Do you have plans this Thursday? If so, invite your friends…and your friends of friends because you are not going to want to miss this.
This Thursday, February 28th, at 7:30 pm, Kepler’s is hosting the “You Are Next Tour” with Sean Beaudoin, Kevin Emerson, Cat Patrick, and Martha Brockenbrough. These four Seattle-based authors represent some of “what’s next” in YA Lit.
So, before the crowds crash the party, get there and get in. Are you starting to wonder what all the fuss is about? Here’s a sneak peak:
“The Infects” by Sean Beaudoin
Author of four YA books including THE INFECTS, about a group of teens who find themselves overrun with zombies during an "Inward Trek” camp for “bad” kids. Beaudoin is also the founding editor of theWeeklings.com.
“The Lost Code” by Kevin Emerson
Rocker and former science teacher, Emerson is the author of seven books for teens. THE LOST CODE, Book One in the Atlanteans series, asks: What if you had the power to save humanity from itself? (I mean if you’re going to have a power, that’s a pretty good one to have, isn’t it?)
Author of REVIVED , about a teen who’s part of a top secret government program to test a drug that brings people back from the dead, as well as Indie Next Pick, FORGOTTEN. (Indie Next Pick’s are a don’t miss!)
“Devine Intervention” by Martha Brockenbrough
Author of four books including DEVINE INTERVENTION, a novel about the world’s most inept guardian angel and the girl he fails to watch over. Brockenbrough is also the founder of National Grammar Day.
