Kentucky's Forecastle Festival features notable country music acts

Today, organizers with the Forecastle Festival of Louisville, Ky. revealed the cast of musicians that will take part of the event. With a blend of rock, country, bluegrass, and hip hop, there is something for all music lovers. Outkast, Jack White, The Replacements, and Beck were deemed headliners of the event that will take place July 18-20, 2014, at Waterfront Park in Louisville.

Included along the lineup is Kentucky native, Dwight Yoakam, as well as Ray LaMontagne, Band of Horses, Spoon, Nickel Creek, Twenty One Pilots, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Local Natives, Gary Clark, Jr., Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, Jenny Lewis, Trampled by Turtles, Lord Huron, Tune-Yard, JJ Grey & Mofro, Action Bronson, Slint, Flume, Against Me, Sun Kil Moon, Sharon Van Etten, The Black Lips, St. Lucia, Brett Dennen, Tourist, Lucius, Nightmares On Wax, Charli XCX, Spanish Gold, Claude VonStroke, Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors, The Soul Rebels, Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, Reignwolf, Waxahatchee, Chrome Sparks, Hayes Carll, Willie Watson, Foy Vance, Hurray for the Riff Raff, The Districts, Benjamin Booker, Johnnyswim, Leagues, Old Baby, Blue Sky Black Death, Matrimony, Mount Moriah, Seluah, The Weeks, JaLin Roze, Young & Sick, Jill Andrews, The Wans, and Goodbye June.

Alongside the musical highlights, Forecastle Festival plans to have a new feature, Kentucky Landing. It will feature local food trucks, craft beer, and vendors selling goods produced in Kentucky.

Festival passes go on sale Friday, March 7th, at noon EST. An on-sale date for single tickets has yet to be announced.
