On Monday and Tuesday night, Kent Finlay, the owner of Cheatham St Warehouse (www.cheathamstreet.com), and one of the premier songwriters in the Hill Country, will once again be celebrating his 29th birthday. He will be joined by a long list of some of the best songwriters in the state. The show will last 2 nights, starting each night at 7pm. This annual event is a fundraiser for the Cheatham Street Music Foundation (www.cheathamstreetfoundation.org ). There is a minimum donation of $15 per night, or $20 for both nights, which is a bargain for the amount of music you will get to see. A full schedule, as up to date as possible, will be listed below. Some of the highlights will include Slaid Cleaves, Adam Carroll, Owen Temple, Kyle Park, Jason Eady, Jamie Wilson, John Arthur Martinez, Houston Marchman, Robert Ellis, Ray Wylie Hubbard, and Shelley King.
The schedule is subject to change, and no times for each set have been provided. More names are being added daily, and the schedule will not be completed until the show is over. I can tell you it will be a great two nights of music.
