Kenny Rogers Shows Hand In Symphonic Form Saturday in Nashville

There's sure to be a "lady" or two in tonight's crowd to see the greatest, Kenny Rogers, take to the stage of Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Co-sponsored by legendary radio station 650 WSM, the iconic Rogers returns for an unforgettable night of music with Nashville’s GRAMMY®-winning orchestra at the Schermerhorn starting at 8 p.m.

With hits like “Lady,” “The Gambler,” “She Believes in Me,” “Lucille,” “Ruby Don't Take Your Love To Town,” “Islands In The Stream” and many more, this is one show you won’t want to miss. Kenny’s last appearance at the Schermerhorn sold out quickly, so get your tickets now to hear this American musical legend. Even if you don't bring your love to town, Kenny often shares enough for everyone – and if past performances are any indication, when it comes to his wit he's truly a card with the crowd. (And though audiences might love it and want some more of it, he likely won't be bringing along the cardboard cutout of Tim McGraw to join him onstage as he's done at a CMA Fest show).

If you want to go out and share a special night with either a friend or significant other, this event would be a fine one to pick and leave for - don't be the coward of Davidson County, bring your love to town instead: for tickets visit www.nashvillesymphony.org or call the box office at (615) 687-6400. Plus, if food suits your mood the Schermerhorn has both a fine dining restaurant and a cafe which open 2 hours prior to showtime and stream free wi-fi, Seattle's Best coffee AND espresso for specialty coffee drinks (possibly the only locale for this brand offering due to the closing of Borders locations?), sandwiches and more. In June, Willie Nelson is scheduled to share his strange(r) ways with the Symphony. Tickets for that show will go on sale January 27th.
