Kenny Ortega, who recently appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show, in a new interview with BBC News, discusses Michael Jackson during his final days, and the exciting new technology behind the production of 'This Is It'.

Ortega says that one of the main reasons Michael Jackson was so excited to embark upon the 'This Is It' tour was due to "ecological concerns, the messages that were there in his songs, that he said he once again looked forward to sharing with everyone. Wanting to be back with the fans. Doing a show for the fans here in London - all of that is there, present in the film. And he wanted his children to share in what he loved in life - his music." Ortega continued, "We had some wonderful new inventions that were there as part of the production -extraordinary films that we had worked on together. Bringing 3D into arena theatre. We had an incredible band, and dancers that came from all over the world to audition to be a part of the production. It was a major production." Ortega recalls, "Most of the time, you had to remind yourself that he was 50. He kept up with a cast of dancers that were half his age, and they had to keep up with him."
