Kenny Clutch, a rapper from Las Vegas, was killed on Feb. 21 in a shooting that took place on the Vegas strip. On Feb. 22, ABC News confirmed that Clutch was one of the 5 people killed in the valet area of the Aria Resort and Casino and on the strip.
"Three people were left dead and three injured in the attack, including two who died when their taxi was struck by the careening sports car and exploded into flames. Police say they believe the shooting began as an argument moments earlier at a nearby casino. A multi-state manhunt is on for the unidentified shooter," ABC News reported.
Kenny Clutch, the rapper, was in a Maserati just after 4 a.m. when a black Range Rover pulled up next to him and fired shots into the car, striking Clutch, who was driving, and a passenger who was injured but survived. According to the report, the passenger was hit with a bullet in the arm but his injury was described as "minor." At this point, the shooting seems random. The gunman (presuming there was only one killer) likely just snapped after the argument and went on a rampage. Sadly, innocent lives were taken... again.
"This is something you never really, really ever want to experience as a parent, to lose a child before you go," said Clutch's father.
Rapper Kenny Clutch's real name is Kenneth Cherry Jr.
