This week, Jimmy Fallon, has been paying tribute to Bruce Springsteen, on his Late Night Show. The Boss has a new album titled Wrecking Ball that will drop on March 6, and stars are lining up to jump on the band wagon to help promote it.
Tuesday's show included one of Nashville's most beloved artists-Kenny Chesney. Onstage for the first time on Fallon's show, he sang his accustic rendition of I'm On Fire.
Wearing a classic black cowboy hat, black t-shirt, and faded jeans; Chesney sat on a wooden stool in front of his band, while preforming the acustic version that Springsteen would have enjoyed. His performance was a far cry from the drinking songs that Chesney is most known for. It was a nice respit and well perfomed. Chesney's 'Brother's of the Sun' tour, with Tim McGraw, starts June 2nd in Tampa Florida.
Fallon's NBC show, has had one other country music star to play previously. In 2010, Keith Urban played the classic Rolling Stones song Tumbling Dice during a week long tribute to the Stones.
