Kendra Wilkinson loses 50 lbs: 'My body is back and I want to show it off'

Former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson has regained her pre-pregnancy bikini body and couldn't wait to show it off in the new issue of InTouch Weekly.

Wilkinson, 25, who has lost 50 pounds since giving birth to son Hank Jr. in December 2009, has admitted that losing the pregnancy weight was harder than she had ever imagined it would be.

"My body is back, and I want to show it off," Kendra gushed as she posed in a pink string bikini while holding her son with NFL star Hank Baskett.

'I WAS DEPRESSED WHEN I WAS HEAVY'

Wilkinson, who has been athletic all her life, became depressed when the pregnancy weight stubbornly refused to budge for months after she gave birth.

"Having a different body was such a culture shock," she said. "I'm so used to being hot and fit. I did go through some depression, although it wasn't that extreme."

Kendra lost the first 25 pounds in 8 weeks by doing 45 minutes of hard-core training and weight-lifting several times a week. For cardio, she alternated swimming and walking on the treadmill at an incline for 27-45 minutes.

Wilkinson lost the remaining weight by amping up her workouts and eating healthier. Kendra says her husband, who assured her she was beautiful no matter what her size, is her fitness motivation.

"It’s all because of Hank," she says. "He’s the one I am doing it for. It’s not even for me being on the cover of magazines or on a TV show. I want my body back for Hank."

    Good for her! It is so hard to lose pregancy weight, especially since hormones want to hold onto the weight after birth. I gained 40 lbs with each pregnancy so I can imagine 50 lbs is tough. Kendra looks great! Thanks for posting her fitness routine, hopefully it helps others who are trying to lose baby fat too ;-)
