The fate of Whisenhunt will be decided on in the next couple of days. So far though, Bidwill is playing Whisenhunt's future close to the vest with no true rumors leaking about the job status of Whisenhunt..
Whisenhunt has one year left on his contract at what is believe to be at least $5 million. If the front office did decide to fire Whiz, they would have to pay him as well as whoever the new coach would be.
If Whisenhunt does get canned, one option the Cardinals could look at is Andy Reid. Reid was one of the handful of coaches who was fired on Monday. One of the better coaches in the league, it won't take him very long to find another job.
