There was a huge television special on Spike TV last night about Frank Shamrock and his relationship with Ken Shamrock played a major role in the show. With Shamrock back in the public eye, Wrestle Zone reported on Oct. 11 that Shamrock said he wants to return to the WWE.
Shamrock said he has been sending out word for awhile that he wants to come back to the WWE, but can’t get anyone to respond to his requests. He said that it seems like he has been blackballed and has no idea why.
Shamrock said he made no WWE enemies that he knows of, unless it is Triple H himself. He said that he thought they were cool, but maybe they rubbed shoulders the wrong way when he was there last time. However, he said he would love to make a WWE return and get back into the title picture again.
He said that, since he is completely retired from the world of MMA, he doesn’t have to worry about training to fight and can just work on keeping in the best shape possible. He said that, in the MMA, you have to trim down, but he is now at what he considers to be a good pro wrestling weight and wants another chance.
Ken Shamrock, who was the first TNA Wrestling champion, when they used the NWA title, mentioned that he didn’t have a lot of time to put in there when they started because of his MMA career. He finished by saying that he feels he did everything he needed to get another shot, and would like to know why no one is interested.
