Was missing woman Kelsie Jean Schelling pregnant? A friend and coworker claims that she was before she went missing, and he made other shocking claims as well. This is a breaking update not yet in the mainstream media, but it's news that needs to be brought to attention, nonetheless. An email was sent to me by the young man on Feb. 16, 2013, and he not only knows Kelsie, but knows her boyfriend as well -- the boyfriend she was known to be visiting when she was last seen in Pueblo, Colo.
This is a sensitive case and not many details are being released to the public, but it's already been speculated in articles posted here on Examiner that the evidence released to the media thus far indicate foul play. However, it should be noted that officials have appeared to dance around this glaring indication -- the 800 lb. elephant in the room. The friend, who is also a coworker of the missing woman, asked to be kept anonymous due to the sensitivity of this case and for good reason. You see, she very well might have been murdered.
Police have not confirmed this information, but Kelsie's friend says that the young woman was pregnant, and was having trouble with her boyfriend -- who is presumably the man she was believed to had been visiting when she vanished. The screenshot of the email is included in the above photo slideshow, but the name of the source has been omitted, as well as the name of the missing woman's boyfriend. There are also accusations of physical abuse against the boyfriend. Could Kelsie Schelling have been in danger of the man she last visited? Seeing as though her car was found in Pueblo, but she has yet to be, then it's easy to speculate negative theories.
Meanwhile, there are very few confirmed details on this case and many members of various media outlets are grappling for information. As can be seen in the photo slideshow, KRDO NewsChannel 13 has been crawling the Help Find Kelsie Facebook page, so the community is proving to be a useful area for information. It's rumored (as stated by the KRDO reporter) that the missing woman's boyfriend has been in contact with Denver detectives -- but to what extent?
Hopefully some more information comes out and officials in Denver can either confirm or deny any of the claims made by this friend of the missing woman. Because, if these details are true then they add more disturbing elements to the already mysterious disappearance of Kelsie Jean Schelling.
