Kelsey Grammer and his ex Camille are engaged in an all out war over the bed that they shared when they were married. The New York Post reported on Wednesday, March 20 that Camille recently hired movers to go and pick up the bed so that Kelsey and his new wife Kayte would not be able to sleep in it.
Most divorced couples would never fight over their previous marital bed, in fact in most cases neither party usually want it at, choosing to cut all former ties and memories of the ex spouse.
So when Kelsey and Kayte Grammer made the decision to move back into the Holmby Hills home that he had originally shared with Camille, it seemed odd that they had not refurnished, especially the bedroom. That is when Camille decided to send out the troops to go get the king sized bed that used to be hers, and was now being slept in by Kayte.
Now Kelsey Grammer is royally ticked off that Camille sent the movers, and her personal assistant for the bed, along with a list from the couples official divorce settlement of everything that Camille was awarded in the divorce including the bed.
Camille Grammer told The Post: : “It was in the settlement that I got the bed. He got everything he wanted, the whole book collection. But he was living somewhere else. He didn’t want the bedroom furniture. He never liked the bed. He gave it up. It was really his oversight.” Of Kayte, she sniffed: “Wouldn’t she want her own furniture?” Camille, who has a huge canopy bed in her current Malibu home, for sale for $17.9 million, said she won’t use the old bed till she moves to a smaller house.
Kelsey Grammer’s rep was contacted for comment saying, “We don’t talk about what Camille does or doesn’t do. We all have better things to do.”
Ouch, looks as if the battles will continue on between Kelsey and Camille Grammer for a while longer. Does Kelsey Grammer deserve Camille's bed fight, or is Camille being petty?
