Chef/entrepreneur Peter X. Kelly could hardly have done better in the 2009/10 Zagat Westchester/Hudson Valley Restaurants book, released Monday.

The survey of 4,502 diners who eat out 2.7 times per week on average named X20: Xaviars On the Hudson in Yonkers the most popular restaurant in the region and Xaviars at Piermont tops in both the food and service categories. The Piermont spot also is ranked third in popularity.

Plus, his Freelance Cafe & Wine Bar in Piermont came in at No. 2 for food and No. 5 for service.
