Kelly Rowland turns to social media to digitally interact with fans (Photos)

Kelly Rowland was at the O2 Arena in London on Wednesday night for X Factor, but talking to American fans on Thursday morning. In between the two interactions, she got a good night’s sleep. Entertainers are taking more to the tools of social media to avoid the lengthy flights and keep their fans interest piqued.

Sharing how her career has changed with the disbanded of Destiny’s Child, Kelly Rowland expects a bright future and she is having social media lead the way. In what the entertainment business is calling ‘Lifestyle Marketing,’ the reliability of getting a one-on-one interaction with fans is the way to increase sales and bring notice to a career of an artist, all the while they work around their schedule.

For Kelly Rowland, the coming days of X Factor in the UK will bring plenty of first-hand knowledge about the entertainer, but it won’t skip the pond so America will be hearing from her online.

“In all of these places, I’ve sold records. I want to be able to reach out to my fans in different ways. Away from music as welI,” says Kelly Rowland. “I want people to get a piece of me through other branding opportunities.”
